Such as for writing college reviews, you have to read the source in depth on which you are going to write a review. After reading, the next step comes of assemblage of significant points that seem catchy to you. The assemblage can be done by keeping a notebook with you in which, you can note all the imperative points that you find while reading the source.

For writing a review, always keep in mind that your attitude towards the writer or his/her work should not be prejudiced and biased. You should read and write with a neutral and broad mind. Always write by emphasizing the positive as well as the negative points. Highlight the areas of the source where you find the argument persuasive and convincing and also indicate towards areas that are weak in terms of deliverance of ideas. Your review should be a mini copy of the original document. You are not to summarize the source but to write a review that evaluates and analyzes the original document. To write an influential review, you have to read the source more than once. It is compulsory for you that you should form some opinion or judgement of your own after reading the source.

All your ideas in the review should be interconnected and one idea should lead to another. Prove your opinions and points with textual evidences from the source, which you are reviewing. All your arguments should be authentic and original and you should not copy from any other review. Writing original reviews will lead you to academic success.
